About this vessel
Sea Spirit is a low hour, lightly used, well-equipped and maintained example of the popular 57 Voyager Pilothouse Motor Yacht by Carver. The current owner has spent over $100,000 on the boat in recent years and has completed extensive upgrades throughout.
She is powered by upgraded twin Volvo D12 715HP fresh water cooled diesels with less than 500 hours. In 2019, the previous owners upgraded the exhaust systems on both engines to include custom polished stainless steel risers and mixing elbows from Marine Exhaust Systems, as well as two new turbos. Both engines had the heat exchangers, after coolers, oil and gear coolers cleaned, new zincs installed, and new Volvo long life coolant added. Both main engines have received recent annual services including oil and filters, all fuel filters, new air filters, and crank case breather filters. The transmission oil and filters were also changed on both mains, and new raw water pumps were installed on both main engines. The generator received a full service including a new belt, new raw water pump, fuel filters, and air filter.
The vessel is very well equipped with factory options including a hard top, davit for a tender on the aft bridge deck, twin 50 amp shore power service, Kohler generator in a sound enclosure, windlass anchor with remote foot pedals on the bow, and bow sun pads with custom retractable back rests. The bridge features a wet bar with electric grill, fridge, and freezer.
Recent upgrades by the current owner include a new Yacht Controller, extensive new electronics suites at lower and upper helms, new bow and stern thrusters, new refrigeration in the galley with four drawers, new oven, new microwave/convection oven, new double stainless steel sinks with built-in cutting board top on one side, completely new AC and heat systems throughout the boat, and new acrylic enclosures on the bridge.
