The brand Cayman Yachts was born in 1990 at Mochi Craft from an idea of Luigi Prosperi, president of one of the most famous Italian shipyards. In 1996 Prosperi left Mochi Craft and moved the Cayman Yachts brand to La Spezia, creating the new Tyrrhenian shipyard. With his son Paolo, a naval engineer, the yard built 40-yard and 50-foot vessels with top-quality interiors, drawing on 40 years of experience in the yacht industry.
The shipyard began a partnership with Luigi Prosperi and built yachts for him. After a decade of experience as a builder for other brands, the management presented the entry-level Cayman Yachts S450 at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2017, followed by the flagship Cayman Yachts F920 in September 2018, also at Cannes.
The yard's goal is to modernize its models and reach a new technology level while maintaining Italian craftsmanship. Tradition, experience, and know-how combine with a commitment to innovation and technological upgrade.
At Cayman Yachts, the professionalism of individual craftsmen flows into a harmonious synergy with team potential, creating professionals devoted to the pursuit of perfection. Customer dreams are realized through design interpretation of every request and customization of every detail, from structural parts to interior design.
All workers are highly skilled from their experience building yachts for many brands. The team, including a master shipwright, ensures top-quality work on both interior furniture and onboard systems. Professionalism, incredible care in after-sales service, and logistic planning of maintenance interventions create a synergy that benefits customers.
