Push-Button Surfing at Flagship Scale
The R31 Surf runs Cobalt’s Surf System with Surf Gate™ technology, allowing riders to switch wave sides instantly and dial in the wave shape from the helm. The system pairs hard ballast with the Forward Drive configuration to throw a clean, powerful wake that holds its shape well behind the boat.
The extra length and weight of the R31 give the surf system more to work with, translating to longer, more sculpted waves than smaller models in the lineup can produce.
Twin Volvo Penta Power & Forward Drive Control
The R31 Surf comes standard with twin Volvo Penta Forward Drive engines and DP joystick control. Four power packages are available, letting owners match the boat to how they ride.
All packages come with Volvo’s EVC system, PTA and cruise control as standard. Optional upgrades include the Total Control package with autopilot and dynamic positioning, titanium ceramic coating and the anti-corrosion system on the 300hp configuration.
The twin-engine setup gives the R31 Surf low-speed precision for tight surf zones and confident handling at cruising speeds, with joystick control simplifying docking and close-quarters manoeuvring.
