Overview
About this vessel
The DNA 500 XC is a 5.2 m pontoon cuddy cabin designed as a true all-rounder for coastal fishing and family boating. It is large enough to fish four adults comfortably, with a sheltered cuddy providing protection from the elements and dry bow storage. Cuddy shelves organise gear, while cantilever pedestal seating leaves the deck open beneath for extra stowage. A full-width transom shelf lifts batteries and systems off the floor, with space beneath for neatly stowed tote tanks; many owners opt for an underfloor fuel tank as an upgrade.
Built on the DNA X-Series hull with tapered pontoons, the 500 XC delivers a soft, non-pounding ride and high stability at rest. Tall sides deliver added security and storage, and a split front windscreen simplifies anchor handling. With 75 90 HP outboard power, a 4 mm hull and 3 mm pontoons, the boat balances robustness, performance and ease of handling, remaining launchable and retrievable by one person while providing the capability for serious coastal fishing and adventure.
