About this vessel
Boobah is a custom express sportfish with a flybridge. Known for exceptional ride qualities and performance along with remarkable custom woodwork, this vessel features cold molded construction with diagonal plank Okoume plywood and Kevlar laminates on the hull bottom. Awlgrip paint and teak transom. Custom Palm Beach Tower aluminum work with the capability to fold down the hard top for height restricted passes. Two stateroom, three full head layout with an additional Pullman bed.
Flybridge
The flybridge offers exceptional viewing for fighting fish, docking and maneuvering. This area features two release helm chairs along with an aft facing single bench. A pop up electronics cabinet houses three Garmin screens, engine monitoring MTU displays, Seakeeper control indicator lights and two VHF radios. Alongside the steering wheel and single lever controls are port and starboard boxes; the starboard side has the MTU joystick and Boca lighting switches. The port side has the controls to operate the Rupp hydraulic outriggers and the hydraulic hard top control. Storage is available under the helm area.
Lower Helm and Salon Area
Entering the salon, the starboard side features a custom cabinet with two pull out extended drawers. Just forward is a fore and aft couch with reel storage underneath. Above this couch is one of two custom rod storage cabinets with pulley assist opening. On the starboard side is a 55 inch Samsung TV on an electronic actuated lift.
Adjacent on the port side and aft is an L shaped couch with ample storage underneath. Above the port side is the second custom rod locker with pulley assist hatch.
Going forward to the lower helm area, the port side features a reversible double chair that can face aft while fishing or entertaining, and faces forward for traveling. The port side also has two stainless steel Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezers with lower ice maker. Continuing forward on the port side is a custom pop up bar with bottle storage. Before the companionway to the lower galley is the full AC/DC electric panel and shore/generator switches.
Center is the helm area with three Garmin screens and all controls. MTU joystick to port, release helm chair, stainless steel steering wheel and single lever Palm Beach controls with bow thruster buttons.
To port is the FCI water maker and dockside purification control. Behind the helm are the DirecTV control boxes and the Control4 audio visual control tower.
Galley and Lower Salon
Continuing down a few steps, the galley area is to port with a day head immediately on the starboard side featuring a full shower. The port side galley has two release bar stools and four Sub-Zero pull out refrigerator/freezers. A Miele induction cooktop with removable granite counter, large double sink, and a custom pull out cabinet with a mounted Keurig coffee machine are included. Above the sink is a microwave convection oven.
The lower salon includes a Pullman bunk that folds up into the wall and an L couch on the port side that converts to another bed, with a large TV screen mounted on the starboard companion wall. Teak flooring throughout.
Master Stateroom
The Master stateroom features a queen bed and full bathroom with shower. Teak flooring, a cedar lined closet and custom teak drawers are present. An electric actuator raises the bed for access to the storage lined cedar cabinet and the AC air handler.
Starboard Stateroom
Double twin beds that convert into a single queen. Hanging closet lined with cedar, full head and shower, and custom teak cabinets.
Cockpit
The spacious cockpit is ready for fishing with ample freezer space. The port side features a large custom recessed freezer box with three very large pull out boxes for bait reserves. Just inside is another bait refrigerator/freezer with four drawers that can act as a day box or full freezer. Center is the engine room access. The far starboard side has a refrigerated fish box with freezer capabilities and an Eskimo ice dump. Just inboard and in line with the electric door to the lower helm is a refrigerated drink box. To the port side of the entrance door is the cockpit grill and tackle center with three full pull out drawers below.
Just above the freezers in the mezzanine area is a large bench seat with Coverlight cushions; below is ample storage for fenders and dock lines. Teak flooring and teak covering boards with Gemlux swivel rod holders. Centered is a release fighting chair and rocket launcher. Aft on the transom is the live well. Under gunnel has port and starboard additional live well plumbing. Port side features a water inlet and wash down; starboard side has two 50 amp cords and salt water wash down. Cleaning brushes and chamois storage are located under both gunnels. 24V electric reel plugs are provided.
Engine Room
Twin MTU 12V M96L engines power the vessel. The engine room includes Onan 22kW generator sets (port and starboard), dripless shaft seals, FCI combo water maker Spot Zero, Willy vac, Bosch washer dryer combo, Brownies compressor for tank fills, Seakeeper 16 gyro, redundant AC pumps, fuel transfer system, air conditioning supply and discharge manifold, Eskimo 800 ice machine, port and starboard Dometic freezer chillers, battery charger, side power hydraulic unit, port and starboard PTO, Charles booster boxes, and 528 transducer high/low.
