About this vessel
This is an ex-Dongfeng VO65 with a history of winning and maintained to the best standard by well-funded teams. The boat always had a full time shore team managing its care.
Kept to the standards advised by the class and the manufacturers of the various equipment. No expense was spared in keeping this boat in top racing shape. When not sailing, the boat is stored totally disassembled inside a tent. Apart from being a very competitive boat in offshore racing, it is also an excellent day sailor with a small capable crew of 5.
Complete check and overhaul yearly of the mast, hull, structure and systems. In the forward area Corecell is used. Twin fixed rudders with composite stocks have been replaced in 2019 with an extra spare rudder included. Non-skid paint and seadeck fitted in 2023.
The race pedigree of this boat is guaranteed with outright wins in the Volvo Ocean Race 2018 and Ocean Race 2021.
