After hundreds of years of combined experience in designing, building and cruising yachts on the open ocean, Fleming Yachts present the Fleming 85 Pilothouse Motor Yacht, a brand new design from the keel up.
Our Mission: To design and build literally the finest possible ocean going pilothouse motor yacht, in every respect. With true ocean crossing range, the Fleming 85 will take you anywhere you want to be in the world, in total comfort, grace and peace of mind.
Design and Engineering: From the renowned naval architects Norman R Wright and Sons, the hull is designed to be the most efficient and beautiful semi-displacement hull on the water. Extensive use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software fine tunes the hull design to ensure maximum efficiency and excellent behavioral characteristics in all sea states. Composite engineers designed the optimal strength-to-weight ratio structure verified by DNV, resulting in the best fuel economy and range of any semi-displacement boat in the world.
The absolute highest specification of equipment is installed as standard, with redundancy and maintenance access in mind.
Versions: Open air with traditional flybridge and enclosed pilothouse version on the upper deck are available, providing flexibility in deck space and interior adaptations for flexible dining and entertaining.
Style: The exterior lines are unmistakably classic Fleming with refined and simplified details for a clean look with flush and hidden hardware. Interiors range from traditional to contemporary styles, always elegant, warm, comfortable and practical, featuring double glazing throughout for climate comfort.
Deck Spaces:
- Foredeck with hydraulic and electric Maxwell windlasses, Ultra anchors, stainless steel chain, large storage lockers, and fold-away seating alcove.
- Flybridge deck equipped for cruising, entertaining, relaxing, and tending a 17-foot tender with a 2000lb crane.
- Aft deck with raised sheltered seating and dining for 10, amenities, and sheltered door access to engine room and crew quarters below.
- Cockpit with easy access, ample storage for dive and fishing gear, and warping winches.
- Swim platform with hydraulic lowering option for tender or PWC storage and launching.
- Multiple side boarding gates for safe accessibility from fixed or floating docks.
Interior Layout Options: Available in 3 or 4 cabin layouts with corresponding crew quarter options (twin cabins and crew galley or single cabin and crew galley).
