Launched in 2023, this Galeon 500 Fly presents as a near-new example of the yard's award-winning flybridge series, distinguished by its trademark Beach Mode fold-out balconies and a host of premium factory options. Built to the exacting standards of Galeon's Gdańsk shipyard and registered under the Romanian flag, she offers a highly adaptable layout with three guest cabins plus a separate crew cabin, a well-appointed flybridge, and extensive indoor-outdoor living space.
Her specification includes twin Volvo Penta D11-670 diesels on straight shafts, Raymarine electronics, full climate control, hydraulic bathing platform, water-maker, upgraded entertainment systems, and a comprehensive galley arrangement. With just c. 70 engine hours, her Volvo Penta warranty remains valid until September 2025.
This configuration makes her equally suitable for private cruising or luxury charter operation, with the VAT unpaid - offering potential advantages for non-EU buyers.
The 500 Fly's exterior lines, by Tony Castro Design, blend a dynamic profile with a versatile deck plan. The hydraulic platform serves as a tender launch and private beach. From here, steps lead up to the aft cockpit, where the Beach Mode fold-outs transform the beam to create a broad entertainment terrace. Side decks lead forward to a well-protected bow lounge, complete with sunpads and seating.
The flybridge extends the living space with a forward helm, generous dining table, wet-bar with grill and icemaker, and an open aft area for loose furniture or sun-loungers. High bulwarks and sturdy rails give reassurance underway.
Accessed through sliding glass doors, the saloon connects seamlessly to the aft deck. Large windows and a retractable side section enhance the open feel. The galley, positioned aft for service to both decks, features a full-height fridge/freezer, oven, hob, sink, and ample stowage.
Forward, the lower helm offers full Raymarine instrumentation and excellent sightlines. A U-shaped dinette to starboard serves as an indoor dining option.
Below, the full-beam master cabin amidships offers a king-size berth, sofa, vanity, and en-suite. The VIP forward has a queen berth and private access to the second bathroom (also day-head), while the starboard guest cabin features twin berths. The crew cabin, accessed via the transom, is fitted with its own head/shower.
Powered by twin Volvo Penta D11-670 diesels on conventional shafts, this 500 Fly cruises comfortably at around 25 knots and reaches approximately 30 knots at full throttle. The straight-shaft arrangement simplifies servicing and appeals to experienced operators.
Fuel is stored in twin 900 litre tanks (total 1,800 L), complemented by a 650 L fresh water tank and black-water holding.
The hydraulic platform accommodates a tender or PWC; davits or cradles can be fitted as required. Space is available for a range of water-toys, depending on owner preference.
Raymarine multifunction displays, radar, autopilot, depth, and speed sensors are fitted to both upper and lower helms. VHF, AIS, and integrated engine monitoring systems are included. A Yacht Controller wireless docking remote may be specified.
Delivered new in 2023, she has approximately 70 engine hours. All systems are within original manufacturer's warranty until September 2025, with routine servicing up to date.
Registered under the Romanian flag. VAT not paid. Meets relevant CE category requirements for offshore cruising.
Three-cabin layout plus separate crew facility suits both owner-operated and professionally crewed usage. The combination of Beach Mode and flybridge entertainment areas makes her attractive for Mediterranean or Black Sea charter itineraries.
