About this vessel
MALOU is an exceptional 2011 Hampton 620 Raised Pilothouse. She is a three stateroom two head layout that includes a large full beam owners stateroom.
Equipped with dependable C-12 Caterpillar engines and a 20kw Northern Lights generator, she is the perfect yacht for the Pacific Northwest or an excellent vessel to cruise south to Cabo or La Paz.
Exterior spaces onboard are amazing and starting on the flybridge that is a hardtop covered space that offers unbelievable ocean views while at anchor or at sea. The aft deck blends seamlessly into the salon with a very sturdy stainless slider to a very inviting space for lounging. On the foredeck is a sun lounge pad that is perfect for a sunset and drinks at the island.
The salon features an Airtex polished stainless steel sliding door with tinted glass, a custom L-shaped sectional settee with built-in storage, and two custom designed barrel chairs. The settee hi/low table features redwood burl inlay. A salon wet bar with sink and granite top includes a double glass door cabinet and U-Line wine captain. The ceiling features redwood burl with direct and indirect LED lighting. Hunter Douglas Silhouette blinds, plush high grade custom carpeting, a 46' Samsung LED TV, Bose Lifestyle AV48 media center system with jewel cube speakers and powered sub, and dual climate control systems (Olympia 105,000 BTU hydronic diesel heat and Marine-Air 42,000 BTU air conditioning/heat) are included.
The pilothouse features a custom wrapped chocolate leather console with redwood burl face and custom Hampton Makore cherry wood and polished stainless steel steering wheel. Full navigational, video and audio electronics are installed throughout. A U-shaped side facing dinette settee with built-in storage and dinette table with redwood burl inlay and glass top with teak inlay provide additional seating. The pilothouse includes Makore teak and holly sole and dual climate control systems.
The flybridge is a hardtop covered space with fiberglass molded console and custom Hampton stainless steel steering wheel with tilt steering. Full navigational, video and audio electronics are available. An entertainment wet bar with Corian top, sink, Kenyon Custom electric grill, and U-Line refrigerator with ice maker is fitted. Two Pompanette Platinum Series white ultra leather helm chairs (re-upholstered 12.2025) are installed, along with a settee with hi/low fold-down table.
The aft deck includes a hardtop, Barrett poly carbon curtain, built-in seating, and teak inlaid oval table. Port and starboard aft deck control wing stations are equipped with ZF electronic engine controls and thrusters. An entertainment wet bar with Corian top, sink and refrigerator, and an 18" Sharp LCD TV are provided.
The master stateroom is a full beam midship space with ensuite head and walk-in closet. It features high-gloss finish African Makore cherry wood paneling and cabinetry with redwood burl inlay, a ceiling headboard feature with LED indirect lighting, and a soft panel headliner. A walkaround queen berth, 40" Samsung LCD TV, and DirecTV Tracvision satellite receiver are included. Storage comprises two cedar-lined, push button, back lit lockers, two backlit glass upper cabinets, and 13 dove-tailed drawers.
The master ensuite head features marble countertops, marble backsplash, a Kohler sink with Grohe faucet, separate shower with glass door and marble trim and built-in seat, Tecma quiet electric toilet, marble heated floors, and ample storage.
The VIP stateroom is forward with ensuite head. It features high-gloss finish African Makore cherry wood paneling and cabinetry with redwood burl inlay, an island walkaround queen berth, 26" Samsung LCD TV, DirecTV Tracvision satellite receiver, and an overhead Lewmar hatch with Ocean Air roller shade/screen.
The guest stateroom on the port side features high-gloss finish African Makore cherry wood paneling and cabinetry with redwood burl inlay, side by side twin berths, built-in center nightstand, and 21" Samsung LCD TV.
The galley is a chef's gourmet U-shaped space with high-gloss finish African Makore cherry wood paneling and cabinetry. A 30" GE Profile 4 burner electric smooth top stove, 30" GE oven with stainless steel face, 30" GE Profile convection microwave with vent, Subzero 700 TC refrigerator with two freezer drawers and icemaker, 24" Fisher & Paykel drawer dishwasher, 15" Broan Elite trash compactor, large Blanco sink with pull-out spout, granite countertops, heated floors with African Makore cherry wood border, and backsplash are installed.
The vessel includes extensive electrical systems with AC/DC backlit blue panel with Blue Sea Systems digital amp/volt meters, a 4kW Magnum inverter/charger system, multiple battery chargers and isolators, 6 Victron Energy 12v-200Ah AGM house/inverter batteries, Seafire FE-241 automatic fire suppression system, MarineAir 94,000 BTU chilled air-conditioning/heat climate system, Nutone central vac system, Bosch washer and dryer, and dual Glendinning 50amp cablemasters with 75' shorepower cables.
