About this vessel
QUIET SUN was conceived with a very specific brief: deliver as much of the presence, volume, and livability of a 100-foot Hargrave as possible in a more agile, owner-operated platform.
Commissioned by a seasoned yachtsman who captained his own vessels for more than three decades, this 76' was designed to replace his 100' Hargrave while preserving the features he valued most. When viewed side-by-side with her larger predecessor, the lineage is unmistakable. The primary distinction lies simply in reduced crew quarters—not in compromised experience.
Her full-beam master stateroom is positioned amidships with a king berth and a private his-and-hers bath. A forward VIP with king berth, a versatile port guest cabin convertible between twins or queen, and a private stern cabin with separate access provide flexible accommodations for family or occasional crew.
The full-beam salon features a 75" television and a walk-up wet bar, flowing naturally to an expansive aft deck seating ten. Above, the flybridge offers additional dining, outdoor cooking, and lounging space—equally suited for Bahamas cruising or entertaining dockside.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C-18 Acert engines, QUIET SUN cruises comfortably at 24 knots, blending performance with Hargrave's hallmark ride quality.

Design Influences and Color
The interior is urban, bold and sexy. The large salon is emphasized by the headliner framing detail of 6" wide planks of Walnut combined with plush Ultra Vinyl. The rich Walnut veneer in a gloss finish has a cool taupe hue that is complemented by the platinum, indigo fabrics and artwork. The two cocktail tables (42") and a side table are completely unique designs and are hand made in Ash Burl and Walnut. They were designed to be sculptural, interesting and individual pieces of art. The polished chrome and nickel accents help create a Salon that is inviting, edgy and fun.
The designer's main goal when creating the salon arrangement was to maximize the space and not waste one inch. The large and plush/comfortable seating socializes for at least 10, with a 75" TV screen along with an elegant bar cabinet with all of the amenities including ice. Forward of the salon, to starboard, is a beautiful Day head for guests convenience, perfectly appointed with a marble top of Pearlato Sicilia and an under mount ceramic sink and contemporary polished chrome fixtures.
Galley Features
The galley area has a large dining settee and is the perfect conversation area, upholstered in ivory Ultra Vinyl. The flooring is satin teak planks which complements the other understated finishes on board. A large pantry provides ample storage.
Master Stateroom and Master Bathroom
The master features a king bed with storage drawers and a headboard with Makore frame and Capice inlay. The master en suite bathroom includes two head floors of solid teak planks, two vanities of Pearlato Sicilia marble, a marble seat in the shower, a 14 sq. foot shower with frameless glass enclosure, dual ceramic sinks, and two frosted privacy glass partitions.
VIP Stateroom and Bathroom
The VIP stateroom features a king bed headboard with Makore and mirror, with an en suite head featuring solid teak plank flooring, Pearlato Sicilia marble vanity, marble seat in shower, and an 8.0 sq. foot shower.
Port Guest Stateroom and Bathroom
The port guest stateroom features two twins convertible to a queen with space to walk around, upholstered headboard with suede, and an en suite head with solid teak plank flooring, Pearlato marble vanity, marble seat in shower, and an 8.75 sq. foot shower.
Crew Cabin and Bathroom
The crew cabin includes two twin beds convertible to a queen with a pullman above, with a private pocket door system and Walnut detail to match the salon. The crew bathroom features solid teak plank flooring, Pearlato marble vanity, and marble seat in shower.
