CONCERTO IN SEA is one of the finest Talaria 48 motor yachts ever built. She was constructed with an emphasis on tasteful features right down to the smallest of details. The knowledgeable owner worked at great lengths to build the perfect cruising platform, and it shows in every way.
Exterior
CONCERTO IN SEA features a Flag Blue Awlgrip hull, a light cream gelcoat deck, a cream Awlgrip double boot stripe, and a red bottom. The varnished teak toe rail, the varnished teak cockpit coaming caps, and the eyebrows accentuate the beautiful profile of the boat.
In the cockpit, coaming sides have been clad in gloss-varnished teak, the amenities are accented with gloss-varnished teak work surfaces and louvered doors. Her optional cockpit and swim platform teak decking are all in keeping with traditional yacht styling and luxurious finishes throughout the vessel. Custom Bo Peep sockets are to port and starboard on the swim platform for ease and safety of boarding.
The deep cockpit with a molded "L" settee to port and a double seat to starboard has a walk-through transom door to the swim platform. Wide side decks, port and starboard coaming gates, properly placed stainless steel handrails, and a huge foredeck make handling lines and fenders easy and safe for docking.
An optional custom varnished folding dining table with a beautiful inlaid compass rose accentuates the aft cockpit. SureShade retractable electric awning to shade the cockpit has been recently upgraded to the advanced silent gear drive system.
Interior
The 15'5" beam provides spacious accommodations, including a comfortable pilothouse area, open galley, aft cabin with twin bunks, two full heads, and luxurious owner's stateroom with centerline queen bunk. The interior is finished in satin varnished cherry with a gloss varnished teak and tulipwood cabin sole and sound absorbent overhead with varnished cherry battens.
Curved stainless and glass tall pilothouse doors open to combine the cockpit and pilothouse spaces and provide excellent natural light and visibility. The pilothouse layout includes forward helm area to starboard and a large aft living area with full-width dinette and entertainment space. All surfaces in the pilothouse are clad in cherry with a satin varnish.
Large, powered opening pilothouse side windows and stainless curved aft doors provide great natural ventilation and excellent light and visibility. All pilothouse windows and doors have Huper ceramic tinted insulating window film.
Galley
This cherry-clad area is open to the pilothouse and receives lots of natural light and ventilation. It has an opening portlight over the counter. The galley features a double sink with polished stainless steel and Corian countertops in Festival color with a custom edge detail. A Seaward 2-burner electric cooktop, Sharp combination stainless steel microwave/convection oven, and a custom top-loading stainless steel freezer with Seafrost wraparound condensing freezer plates provide comprehensive cooking and storage capabilities. A U-Line refrigerator drawer unit and additional slide-out shelves offer ample provisioning space for extended cruising.
Owner's Stateroom
The owner's stateroom is luxurious and very well-appointed. It includes a private ensuite head with a separate stall shower and centerline queen bunk with storage drawers below and under the mattress. A large closet on the starboard side aft with two doors offers tons of hanging space, along with hanging lockers and sheer lockers port and starboard. The owner's stateroom includes a fully outfitted entertainment system.
Aft to port is the ensuite head, finished in light cream gelcoat with cherry laminated interior bulkhead. It features a separate stall shower with Grohe fixture and single-lever mixing valve, hi-pressure freshwater pump, and secondary shower drain to expedite drainage. A Corian countertop with stainless steel sink and large dry toiletry locker complete the space.
Guest Accommodations
The guest stateroom aft to starboard features a comfortable twin bunk layout with ample storage built into each bunk and drawers underneath. Twin shear lockers sit above the starboard bunk. A guest/day head can be entered from the central passageway or the guest stateroom and includes a shower stall with plexiglass door and Grohe fixture.
Engine Room and Mechanical
The engine room is insulated with foam composite insulation with double gaskets on the access door. It includes cage-protected lights and a Fireboy fire suppression system with automatic engine shutdown.
