The Horizon Boats Angler series is a versatile range of pressed aluminium car topper tinnies purpose-built for keen fishing enthusiasts. Spanning compact 3.15-metre models through to a substantial 5.25-metre hull, the Angler line-up delivers excellent stability, generous internal space and thoughtful fishing features in a package that is easy to tow, launch and handle.
Each Angler is constructed with pressed side and bottom sheets, welded cross thwarts and cross-thwart flotation for strength and safety. A flat or curved foredeck with anchor shelf and tie-off point, external keel and solid transom corners contribute to a soft, predictable ride and durable finish. Practical details such as bow and transom handles, rowlock blocks, back board, screw-in bungs and an Australian Builders Plate come standard across the range.
The smaller 315, 355 and 375 Angler models are ideal as lightweight car toppers or tender-style fishing boats, offering simple open layouts, flat foredecks and ample room for basic gear. As the range progresses to the 385 and 405 sizes, beam and depth increase for added stability and carrying capacity, while extra features such as rod holders, glove box and fuel tank rack enhance fishing usability.
The larger 415, 435, 445, 465 and 525 Angler variants step up with heavier-gauge bottom and side sheets, wider beams and higher freeboard for inshore and estuary work. These models incorporate carpeted low floors between seats, full-length fuel tank racks, transducer brackets and bilge pump brackets, supporting more serious fit-outs with electronics and larger outboards up to 60hp.
A comprehensive options list allows owners to tailor their Angler, with choices including internal and external paint, two-tone decals, carpeted floors, bow and side rails, front and rear casting decks, rear step and rail, fuel tank rack, electric motor mount, transducer bracket and extruded side decks. Across the entire Angler family, the focus remains on simple, robust construction and user-friendly layouts that make it easy to get out on the water and start fishing.
Across the size range, the Angler tinnies are suited to outboard horsepower from 5hp through to 60hp, making them adaptable to a wide range of waterways and fishing styles, from sheltered freshwater lakes through to larger estuaries and bays.
