IMPULSE is a rare, special edition Knysna 500SE that bridges the gap between luxury cruising and sailing performance. She has been exclusively owner-operated, used only three months each summer since 2020, and kept in dry storage every winter.
This turnkey catamaran features a luxury "Owner Version" layout with three en-suite cabins finished in light wood craftsmanship and dual 16,000 BTU climate control units. The vessel is equipped with a robust energy system comprising a 760Ah Mastervolt battery bank supported by dual high-output alternators and a 7kW Kohler generator for off-grid autonomy.
The upgraded sail plan features a high-performance square-top mainsail (new 2024) and an electric screecher furler for effortless, short-handed power. New 2024/2025 rigging includes NorthSails Norlam Xi11/09 sails and a new Profurl NDE2 electric genoa furler (2025).
