The SLR 690 Hard Top is a versatile fibreglass hardtop tailored for Kiwi conditions, combining bluewater capability with family-friendly comfort in a true turn-key package. At just under seven metres with a generous 2.5-metre beam, it delivers a stable, soft-riding platform for coastal fishing, diving and cruising, with a fully moulded hardtop and safety glass windscreen providing excellent protection from the elements.
This model features polyurethane underfloor foam for extra buoyancy, a strong hand-laid fibreglass hull with foam-core stringers, and an integrally bonded internal liner with non-slip, easy-clean flooring. Practical deck and cockpit design includes a walk-through transom with door, large underfloor storage locker, full-width moulded bow sprit, separated anchor locker and easy access foredeck via a cabin hatch. Comfort is enhanced by deluxe upholstered cabin squabs and linings, vinyl-trimmed cockpit side panels, folding rear lounge, Softrider pedestal seats and extensive storage in large cockpit side pockets.
For serious anglers, the 690 Hard Top is equipped with multiple stainless steel rod holders, a rocket launcher on the hard top with grab rails, a live bait tank (not plumbed), ski pole, boarding ladder and large safety deck rails mounted on the foredeck. The underfloor fuel tank of approximately 250 litres supports extended days on the water, while navigation and fish-finding capability comes via a Garmin 95SV sounder/plotter package and VHF radio with aerial. Hydraulic steering, quality stainless steel deck fittings, upgraded nose fairlead roller and an electric bilge pump complete a well-specified and ready-to-launch package.
