This MMGI 44m is a full-aluminium superyacht built by Cantieri MMGI di Montfalcone in 2009. BLADE II is powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines on waterjets, augmented by one Vericor gas turbine central booster. The yacht has a cruising speed of 17 knots and an economical range of 1,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, with stabilizers ensuring comfort both underway and at anchor.
The yacht is iconic and one-of-a-kind, known worldwide. It was a nominee for World Yachts Trophies 2010 in the categories "Innovation" and "Layout" for yachts up to 50 meters.
