About this vessel
Blue Bird is a 62' Neptunus sedan motor yacht in impeccable condition, very well maintained both cosmetically and mechanically. She is kept undercover and has a white hull in nice condition. Neptunus Yachts was established over 45 years ago and has a proud tradition of building world-leading semi-custom yachts ranging from 50–80 feet that are rich in style and detail. The hull is fiberglass composite construction using Kevlar hybrid materials for superior strength. She is a deep-V with 19.5 degrees of deadrise, which provides a comfortable ride and very good sea keeping abilities. She is built by some of the very best craftsmen in the industry using only the best available materials and has a reputation for excellent fit and finish. She features beautiful Euro-style lines.
The yacht is powered with twin Cat C-18 1000 HP diesels with very low hours—approximately 200 hours on a total rebuild by Caterpillar, fully warrantied by Cat until June 2028, with total hours on the frame of only 928. All invoices are available from Cat. She will cruise efficiently at about 23 knots and reach 32 knots wide open. All required maintenance is up to date. A full bottom service was just completed in August 2026.
She is spotlessly clean throughout with all major options and a long list of cruising comforts. The entire cabin is luxuriously appointed with all cherry wood cabinetry, granite surfaces, coordinating fabrics, carpeting, window treatments, and designer accessories. All upholstery in the cockpit and flybridge is brand new with plastic wrap still on, at a cost of $35k. All window blinds have been updated.
Main Deck
The spacious salon is located aft and entered through curved sliding glass doors from the aft deck. It features an L-shaped leather settee to starboard with built-in end tables, a custom cherry coffee table with two drop leaves, and two matching occasional chairs on the port side. A burlwood cabinet houses an entertainment center with a new Vizio LCD smart TV and a Bose Lifestyle stereo system with surround sound. There are cabinets and a liquor cabinet, and the sliding glass door has a sliding screen.
Up two steps from the salon is the U-shape chef-sized galley overlooking the salon. It has cherry wood cabinetry, hardwood flooring, and granite countertops. Equipment includes a deep undermount double stainless steel sink with a single lever faucet and separate drinking water tap, an AEG 4-burner Ceran top stove, an AEG full-size self-cleaning oven, a Bosch full-size refrigerator with freezer drawer, a built-in Panasonic microwave/convection oven, a Miele dishwasher, a Jenn-Air trash compactor, and an Insinkerator stainless steel garbage disposer. There is an abundance of drawers, cabinets, and lockers for storage.
Forward of the galley to starboard is an ultra-leather upholstered dinette which can seat five comfortably with storage below. A folding burlwood table sits up on a riser offering exterior views while dining. The sole is planked cherrywood.
Flybridge
The large air-conditioned flybridge has an extended hardtop and stretched vinyl over pipe top with complete enclosure. It features teak decking on the bridge, a J-shape lounge aft to port, a wet bar with granite top and undermount stainless steel sink, refrigerator and storage lockers, a Cal Flame stainless steel grill, and an upper helm forward to starboard with helm and companion seats with storage under. There is a seat to port opposite the helm and a sun pad forward of the bridge helm. Stairs with teak treads lead to the aft deck. The boat has a generous size cockpit with overhang and cockpit controls.
The large aft deck features teak decking, an overhang, a transom seat with cushion and cover, a high gloss cherry table with cover, a wet bar, and stairs to side decks. An aft deck camera is mounted on the transom. A hydraulic swim platform with 750 lb. capacity provides options for storing a dinghy.
Lower Cabin Accommodations
The lower cabin deck is accessed via a curved staircase next to the lower helm on the main deck and features three staterooms and three full, very roomy heads.
The master stateroom is located aft and is full beam. It features a queen-size berth on centerline with storage drawers below, two night stands with drawers, two 10-drawer built-in chests one to port and one to starboard. Above the chests are three large deadlights with shades. Forward on the port side is a cedar-lined hanging locker. There is also a CO monitor and a digital safe. For entertainment, there is an Aquos 26" LCD TV built into the forward bulkhead, an Audiovox DVD, and a Bose Link stereo system.
The ensuite master head has a marble sole, a cherry vanity with granite countertop and undermount china sink, a fresh water flush Raritan Atlantis elongated toilet with remote flush, and a large shower stall with seat and glass door. There is a four-mirrored medicine cabinet and various storage lockers.
The VIP cabin is located forward on the lower cabin deck and features a centerline queen berth with custom innerspring mattress, a bulkhead mirror, and two storage drawers at the foot of the bed. Built-in cherry countertops port and starboard serve as night stands. There are gunwale storage cabinets both port and starboard and a single deadlight with curtain both port and starboard. Aft to port and starboard are double door cedar-lined hanging lockers and a drawer locker with mirror above. A Sharp 18" LCD TV is mounted on the aft bulkhead. There is also an Audiovox DVD, a Bose Link stereo, a CO monitor, and direct access to the forward head. There is an overhead Bomar hatch.
The forward guest head is shared by the VIP and guest cabins and has two entry doors. It features a granite tile sole, a cherry vanity with granite countertop and china undermount sink, storage below the sink, a three-mirrored medicine cabinet above the sink, and a fixed deadlight with shade. The head is a fresh water flush Raritan Atlantis model with remote flush panel. There is a large shower stall with light, exhaust fan, and clear glass shower door. A custom cabinet above the toilet provides additional storage.
The starboard guest cabin features a large double bed with outboard shelves at each berth to serve as nightstands. At the foot of the berth is a cedar-lined hanging locker and a Sharp 18" LCD TV mounted on the forward bulkhead. There is also an Audiovox DVD, a mirror, and a CO monitor.
The lazarette area at the transom is finished as a great storage area and is equipped with an operational toilet. The entrance is through a watertight door on the stern platform. The crew cabin has been turned into lazarette storage area.
