About this vessel
The SARP XSR 85 #NB202 is a ground breaking project featuring a fast displacement hull form with naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects out of Holland. The composite hull and carbon fiber superstructure are paired with hybrid systems that enable a top speed of 21 knots and a cruising range of 1,400nm at 12 knots. The vessel has the ability to cruise at zero emissions or run the house on silent battery mode, ideal for evenings at anchor.
Four operational modes are provided: Diesel Electric Mode, in which the electrical motor is used for propulsion and powered by a generator connected via hybrid module; Electric Mode, in which batteries are used for propulsion; Silent Mode, in which batteries power hotel load while at anchor; and Boost Mode, in which both main engines and electrical motors are used for propulsion simultaneously.
The layout utilizes a large amount of glass in both hull and superstructure to merge interior and exterior spaces and remove obstructions, creating an open floor plan. A line of sight runs from bow to transom throughout the salon. An open galley to port can be enclosed depending on the level of service expected by guests or owner/operator.
The aft deck is a wide open space flowing from the salon to a lounge area located directly outside. A full beam set of stairs leads down to the swim platform, which features a hydraulic platform that doubles as a launch for a tender or jet ski.
