JIMBO 74 was built to impress as she is a premium British built sport yacht known for luxury, performance and sea keeping ability. She is a sexy, big, bold, comfortable and fast cruising yacht. JIMBO 74 has a very powerful stance on the water. Her interior living space is incredibly comfortable allowing a party of 6 to travel in style. All three staterooms have their own private heads and entertainment centers. Crew space for 2 is also provided. I recently spent 10 glorious days on board JIMBO 74 and can tell you from experience that she is very comfortable in a heavy sea, her rooster tail is impressive, and we definitely could not sneak into a marina as all heads turned as we passed. JIMBO handles much like a well-appointed Ferrari. She never fails to thrill. A perfect addition to anyone's lifestyle whether family cruising or corporate entertaining.
JIMBO 74 has a 3 stateroom plus 2 crew layout. Entering the yacht from the very comfortable aft deck one finds themselves in the upper saloon. The table located to starboard was recently refinished and will generously seat 8 comfortably. Across from the u-shaped settee is the large flat screen tv, straight settee, and a very nice bar area. Huge port and starboard windows combined with the large forward helm windows provide excellent natural light. The helm which gives one the feeling of being in the cockpit of a Lear jet, has three seats located forward and to starboard. All instrumentation and electronics are easily accessible. There is a pilot house door located on the port side. JIMBO's lovely wood floors and new carpet truly add the luxury of this yacht.
The seating in the main saloon consists of a large U-shaped settee to starboard and bench seating to port as well as the full entertainment system. A wine chiller plus dedicated glassware lockers are also located on the port side. With her large deck house windows, clear aft bulkhead and the large windshield, there is an extraordinary amount of light that comes into JIMBO 74.
Down 4 stairs to port, one finds a very well laid out galley while forward of the galley is a U shaped dinette. The galley has good amount of above and below counter storage as well as a standup fridge. Stainless steel sink and dishwasher will keep the cleanup crew happy. One of the really nice features of JIMBO is this mid-level galley location. It has a tremendous amount of natural light provided by the overhead heal windows.
The twin guest en-suite is located opposite of the galley. This head is also used as a very accessible day head. Twin berths, large hanging locker, portlights will keep your guests happy and content.
All the way forward on JIMBO is the VIP en-suite. Your VIP guests will be most comfortable in a stateroom with private climate controls and entertainment center, and a deck hatch with side portlights provide natural light. The ensuite head boasts a comfy shower stall, medicine cabinet, portlights and storage. New carpet and headliner combined with her beautiful wood interior makes one feel like you are at home in a seaside mansion.
Aft of the galley is the Lord and Master's en-suite. The master suite is full beam and has large hull side windows that provide lots of light. A very private haven where one can enjoy lounging and chilling after a full day at play. A king master berth is located centerline with a straight settee located to starboard with a desk area located to port. There are abundant storage drawers and lockers as well as very nice hanging locker. Newer carpet and custom linens enhances the ambiance of this suite.
The aft deck and cockpit area of JIMBO has great entertaining capabilities. Seating forward and aft in the area as well as a large sunbathing area located aft of the rear seating gives your guests plenty of lounge space. A grill and wet bar with refrigeration is located to port. There is a near center line ladder up to the upper sport bridge helm makes picking out coral heads in the Bahamas extremely easy.
Aft on JIMBO is the crew quarters and the garage. The crew quarters also has its own private head. The crew cabin is accessible through the private door from the hydraulic swim platform and the passerelle have just been serviced. The garage is large enough to store a Williams jet tender. The swim platform lowered partially into the water is such a nice way to spend an afternoon lounging around in 2-3' of water over the swim platform. Easy access to the clear waters of the Bahamas.
As JIMBO has been cruising both New England and the Bahamas each year, she benefits from a full-time Captain as well from an owner who has had several Sunseekers and believes in replacing not using band aids. She is always ready to cruise and does receive continual maintenance and upgrades.
