About this vessel
Jonny's Quest has been well maintained and benefits from numerous upgrades throughout the vessel.
This 1999 Tiara features a preferred 2-stateroom layout with a huge salon and aft galley. The forward Master Stateroom has a center island berth with a 20" x 20" escape hatch overhead. Just aft of the Master is a hanging locker to starboard with an enclosed head to port featuring a separate shower. The Salon is aft of the Master with port and starboard settees. In the aft part of the cabin, the galley is to starboard and the guest stateroom with convertible twin beds and head are to port. Between the Galley and Guest Stateroom is access to the cabin with only five steps up to helm deck. Helm is to starboard, with companion seating to port. Two steps lead down to the cockpit area which has seating and port and starboard transom doors leading out to the large swim platform which also holds a dinghy.
The TV's and receivers are 12 volt so they run without the generator, allowing you to watch TV without the hum of the generator in the background when it is cool and air conditioning is not needed. Jonny's Quest is equipped to provide comfortable accommodations for weekend getaways.
Master Stateroom
Features a pedestal queen berth with storage beneath, overhead storage cabinets, honey beige carpet, ensuite head, 21" Visio television, Bose speakers from the salon, hanging lockers port and starboard, and indirect lighting.
Master Head
Accessed from the master stateroom with Corian countertop and sink with storage below, vanity with lights, mirror and storage, fiberglass shower with seat and full length glass door, Vacuflush toilet, and linen storage.
Guest Stateroom
Twin berths that convert to king with insert, storage below berths, night stand with drawers, starboard hanging locker, and upper cabinet storage.
Guest Head
Located to starboard with access from salon and guest stateroom. Features Corian countertop and sink, vanity with storage below, fiberglass shower with door, and Vacuflush toilet.
Salon
Natural cherry interior with dark green genuine leather furnishings. Includes 26" flat screen monitor, Bose AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth and Bose speakers, L-shaped sofa to starboard, solid cherry cabin sole, in-floor storage, dinette to port seating for 6, stainless steel stair railing, and Bendix clothes washer/dryer under cabin steps.
Galley
Equipped with Corian countertop, stainless steel sink, glass stovetop, Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer, Black and Decker space maker coffee maker, Panasonic convection/microwave, serving bar between galley and dinette with pull-out pantry storage, and upper and lower storage cabinets.

Notable Upgrades and Maintenance
The salon air conditioning was replaced in October 2014 and the starboard exhaust at the engine was replaced in November 2014. Repairs have been addressed quickly and properly. The automatic shore power to generator option was removed and replaced with a manual switch, eliminating issues associated with the automatic switching system. New bottom paint and prop speed work have been completed.
In August 2008, the port engine suffered a failure due to a known CAT defect with the after cooler on this model engine. The port motor underwent a complete rebuild by Pereira Diesel in Miami, FL. Investigation revealed the starboard motor's after cooler was likely to suffer similar failure, so it was replaced preventatively. At the time of the port motor rebuild, the after coolers were changed to upgraded CAT units, and subsequently both turbochargers were replaced. The starboard motor also received a fresh water cooling system and trim tabs.
Additional systems include a reverse cycle air conditioner, hydraulic wheel steering, Aftwood 200 gallon water heater, smoke detectors, engine hour meters, fuel gauges, rudder angle indicators, bilge blower and engine room fans, Racor fuel filters and water separator, reverse oil transfer/change system for main and generator, four bilge pumps, two high capacity alternators, Fireboy FE-241 automatic and manual fire extinguisher system, Galley Maid super water pump, and new batteries installed in 2018.
The Onan 20kW generator has approximately 3328 hours.
