This 100% freshwater vessel has always been in the Great Lakes and was sold originally by Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales, the world's oldest Viking dealer. She has been maintained in pristine condition with excellent records available.

The 48 Viking Motor Yacht is a rare model, with only a total of 10 boats built. She is truly a "battleship" on the water with all the comforts of a traditional motor yacht. This vessel has clearly lived a pampered life in the freshwaters of the Great Lakes and has enjoyed a history of fastidious owners throughout her life. The layout features a spacious arrangement including three staterooms, two full heads, large galley, two main salons, commanding flybridge, and a separate washer and dryer to complete all the comforts of home.

The vessel has been enhanced with professional topside paint work and many custom features and refit improvements throughout. The Detroit Diesels have undergone complete, fully documented rebuilds with over $110,000 spent at Drummond Marine in Holland, Michigan. Professional custom paint extends from the rub rail to the flybridge hardtop, making the boat shine like a mirror. The interior features gorgeous teak woodwork throughout, with a master stateroom head featuring a shower and bath tub, and a walk-in closet in the master. The aft deck includes a custom wet bar with new stainless steel refrigerator and custom hard enclosure, along with custom furniture and teak high/low table. Forward deck features boxes and bench seating on the bow. All chrome fixtures have been re-chromed, including the windlass, fittings, and ground tackle.
