About this vessel
"Good to Go" may be the most distinctive Viking 61 ever built. Her skybridge design is complemented by the custom arch designed and installed by the original owner. This model truly offers the best of both worlds: an enclosed bridge for comfortable cruising in any conditions, and an open bridge above offering maximum visibility for docking, fishing, or just enjoying life on the water.
Meticulously maintained by the current and second owner, the vessel has undergone extensive upgrades and refurbishment including new carpet, V Cool enclosed bridge windows, new bridge tinting, new Garmin chartplotter, new bow thruster drive, new windlass motor, engine room and cockpit cameras with wifi viewing, complete topside paint, new cutlass bearings, new dripless shaft seals, shafts and props blueprinted and balanced, new water maker membranes, complete 2000 hour service, new rudder seals, new steering ram, new VHF antennas, and windows re-caulked.
Walkthrough
Entering the salon from the spacious teak cockpit, one immediately notices the warm decor, and that this boat is set up for casual entertaining and living. The salon bar top allows for additional dining space, or just a gathering of friends. The galley boasts a full complement of appliances including an oven and extra storage space for the gourmet's needs.
Moving forward, Viking's three stateroom, three head layout incorporates a spacious master with a large queen bed, and more than ample storage in full aft wall hanging lockers. The forward VIP guest stateroom allows for a couple, or two guys or three close friends to sleep comfortably and has an ensuite head. The starboard guest stateroom has upper and lower bunks, and private access to the starboard guest head, which doubles as the day head.
Master Stateroom
Fit for a king, the port side master stateroom has an athwartship queen bed which lifts to access cedar lined, bulk storage under, as well as two drawers under. The aft wall is all hanging cedar lined lockers with mirrored doors. There is still more storage in the credenza at the doorway and drawer and book storage in cabinetry outboard. The master head has a large shower with a glass shower door. The Headhunter head provides trouble free operation. There is a linen locker in the master head.
Master Head
The master head features a Headhunter head, one piece shower door, Amtico flooring, Corian counter tops, brass fixtures, brass towel bars and rings, large mirror with lighting, and linen closet.
VIP Stateroom Forward
Viking's VIP stateroom with double bed down and single up. Storage abounds in cabinets, full extension drawers under bunks, and hanging locker. This stateroom can accommodate as many as three in comfort, and has a private head with stall shower.
Guest Stateroom Starboard
This stateroom has upper and lower bunks with storage under, full extension drawers, cedar lined hanging locker, and private access to the day head.
Main Salon
The first impression of the 61' is the large and luxurious salon. Teak cabinets, ultra leather sofa, and rich carpeting add to the feel of luxury and peace of mind.
Galley / Laundry
The galley features an optional bartop with overhang for bar stools. Amtico teak and holly flooring add warmth and practicality to a fully functional galley. Full oven, four burner cooktop and large sink will please even a gourmet cook.
Cockpit
The cockpit offers 170 square feet with a sink and bait prep center, fresh and saltwater washdown, refrigerated chill box within steps to the salon, cockpit freezer, teak deck, and molded in-deck storage boxes. Engine room access is available from the cockpit.
Enclosed Bridge
The enclosed bridge features a forward console with ultra leather and teak cabinetry, Stidd helm chair, two companion chairs with ultra leather seats and footrests, L shaped ultraleather couch with storage, refrigerator, and custom desk with printer shelf and slideout keyboard drawer for a computer station wired for SAT data connection.
Sky Bridge
The sky bridge features a custom arch and mast with molded in halogen spreader lights, custom antenna mounts, helm chair and mate's chair with footrest, forward bench with seating for 4-5 people, venturi windscreen, and ample storage under helm and bench seat.
Aft Fly Bridge Exterior Salon
The aft fly bridge exterior salon features wheel steering, electronic single lever controls, bow thruster control, aft facing seat with storage, and custom ladder to skybridge.
