About this vessel
The 58 Viking is a hallmark boat that changed everything for Viking. The newest and largest of their fleet when it came out in 1994, it brought a custom boat built on a production line with the same quality to each customer.
The 58 Viking hull shape was engineered to achieve faster speeds with a smoother ride in both following seas and straight on the bow. The bow section features a sharper entry and more flair for a dryer ride. The aft sections, especially under the bottom, were resurfaced for more lifting and better handling while cornering.
The hull uses a priority composite layup with AME 4000 Modified epoxy resin, giving the boat much stronger hull sections to withstand rough seas at high speeds. Viking continued with steel I beam engine beds and a built-in composite fuel cell low in the hull. The engines deliver superior performance with less weight compared to previous options. This combination puts Viking head to head with all custom-made sport fishing convertibles.
Viking has built just over 100 58 convertible/sport fishing boats and it is their most successful model to date.
The interior offers three staterooms and three heads, all ensuite for privacy. The master stateroom features a full-size bed with walk-around space on each side. The VIP stateroom is forward with increased bow space. The third stateroom to starboard includes bunks and is perfect for crew. There is a washer and dryer aboard.
The interior teak high gloss woodwork creates an elegant atmosphere. The salon features a large L-shaped lounge with a galley-up design that provides an open layout with lots of counter space. A large flat screen TV entertainment center and a dinette for 4-6 people are included. Quadruple refrigerator and freezer drawers are built under the counter.
