About this vessel
This explorer yacht was designed for a very experienced yachtsman who took his first yacht Indigo, a 103' CBI Navi, around the world twice via both the southern route Cape Horn and the northern route, the Northwest Passage around the top of Canada.
The yacht was designed and engineered in its entirety in 2007. The design package was submitted to several shipyards at the time for quotations to build. Unfortunately, the financial climate at the time, 2008, caused the project to be shelved. Everything is ready to begin construction immediately with minor updating needed for classification and technology changes.
Although conceived some time ago, this seaworthy, Classed and MCA compliant design has stood the test of time. The yacht features a flared bow, twin screws and an integrated swim platform providing easy access to the tender garage. She is designed for frequent worldwide and transatlantic cruising.
Divided over three decks, the yacht provides an owner's cabin with double berth, two guest cabins with two single berths in each cabin and one VIP cabin with a double berth. For the captain and crew there are respectively a double berth and two single berths.
It takes up to a year and considerable expense to engineer and design a custom yacht. This offering is a great benefit both from a time perspective and financial to a client wishing to build such a custom yacht. The engineering design is the most important aspect of this package as it will remain the same. The profile and layout of the yacht can be changed to suit the client.
