Wairangi - Miller & Tunnage 1934 - Now in Survey

Wairangi is a 1934 Miller & Tunnage classic launch, a rare piece of NZ maritime history. Built of heart kauri and fully restored, she is currently in MNZ commercial survey for both inshore and enclosed waters.

Construction is 1¼" heart kauri, carvel planked. Major mechanical and systems upgrade work has been undertaken over the last four years. The hull was painted in 2022 and the deck in 2025.

The vessel features a spacious aft master, forward bunks, and a large wheelhouse. She is equally suited to plying New Zealand or the South Pacific as a private yacht or with her current commercial status put to work as a sight seeing or charter vessel. Overnight accommodation is permitted in enclosed waters.
