This 1998 Riviera 4000 Offshore presents well and makes a great platform for fishing, entertaining, or relaxing. Well maintained and turnkey ready, the fishing areas are generous and there are plenty of comfortable places to sit in the cockpit and lower saloon. This boat keeps everyone on board happy and entertained.
The teak swim platform has a walk-through transom to the large teak cockpit, which is well kitted out for fishing. There is a live bait tank, bait board, and 15+ rod holders, while also including a sink, large fridge, deep freezer, and a Weber BBQ. There are six separate storage cupboards as well as some massive under-floor storage areas with more rod holders etc.
The upper cockpit and helm area is designed for entertaining and comfort. Well protected from the weather due to large wrap-around glass windows, it offers great 360-degree views and plenty of comfortable seating round the port side table, with another seat to starboard behind the helm. There is good ventilation when needed through roof hatches and the set of easy zip-open clears to aft.
The helm is well laid out and benefits from two large Simrad NSS 12" MFD screens and a comfortable double helm chair. Also within easy reach are the digital throttles, Simrad Autopilot, VHF radio, chain counter, Fusion stereo, battery monitor, and two rows of switches for the lights, wipers, and tank controls etc.
Down below opens up to a large convertible lounge area with a well-equipped galley to port. The galley includes a fridge, large sink, Samsung microwave, and F&P 2 burner electric hob. To starboard is a large L-shaped sofa and a bar area. The sofa is a convertible pullman which quickly adapts to sleep three in the saloon. A set of double doors opens up to the forward master cabin. A well laid out head area includes a large separate shower stall, an electric head, sink, and mirror.
The boat is powered by twin 425hp Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines, with approx 1800 hours use, running through traditional shaft drives and rudders. Cruising speed is in the range of 18-22 knots, with a max top speed reported as 27 knots.
The engine room can be easily accessed by the press of a button to lift the whole upper cockpit floor and seating area, or for quick access there is a large hatch next to the helm seat. Due to the wide beam of 4.46m, the engine room has good access around the engines, generator, and other plant, which makes life much easier for any technicians when servicing.
The owner is only selling as they are now too busy to use the boat on a regular basis. Insurance survey from June 2024 available on request.

It is worth noting one of the Simrad NSS12 MFD's does not respond to touch screen inputs, but the physical buttons and control knob work well.
