Amore was built in 2018 by well-respected long term professional houseboat builders Edwards Built. They built Amore to the then owner's specifications, who had owned several houseboats over the years and knew what worked in the layout and design to cater for the requirements of a family today.

The design prioritises minimal maintenance and a clean fresh inviting appearance using composite aluminium for the external cladding and eaves. On boarding, electric blinds operate at the press of a button, and the ceiling height is higher than typical, allowing larger windows that bring the magic of Eildon into the houseboat.

The open layout features a side kitchen with beautiful Caesar Stone Benchtops opening into the rear lounge. Rear stacker doors extend the rear lounge and enable airflow throughout the houseboat. This concept is repeated on the first storey level with front and rear stacker doors and side tinted sliding glass windows, providing a very spacious open living and relaxation space. The internal stairs are positioned to the side so as not to compromise the flexibility of this space. There is a rear outdoor space to enjoy the sun or sit for a drink as you watch the sunset ripple on the water.

Amore provides a Master Bedroom with a full Ensuite, two good sized bedrooms serviced by a well appointed bathroom, and a sofa bed with privacy curtain for extra guests.

Amore is equipped with the latest technology for family enjoyment. Front and rear thruster units provide manoeuvrability. The Solar Electrics system includes a Selectronic SP PRO Series Inverter/Charger System, a Morningstar Solar Charge Controller, 24 GNB Energy Store Gel Batteries, and 12 quality Solar Panels. The system is backed up by a Cummins Onan Marine 9.5kva diesel Generator, providing more than enough power for year-round family use.

Amore was slipped in 2023 with the pontoons and motor leg serviced. The minimal maintenance requirements and completed major servicing mean all the big money maintenance jobs are under control.
