About this vessel
MY DXB is a 35m motor yacht built in 2003 by Benetti in Fano, Italy. The yacht's interior has been designed by Zuretti and features exterior styling by Stefano Righini Design.
The Benetti Classic 35 series was the first semi-custom range developed by the Italian shipyard and has remained one of the company's most popular designs since its debut launch in 1998. The series features luxury yachts with classic but modern lines that create an elegant profile and a vessel with generous amounts of deck space devoted to owner and guests.
DXB has a cruising speed of 14 knots, a maximum speed of 17 knots, and a range of 3,200 NM. She offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising 1 owner cabin, 2 VIP cabins, and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew members on board to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
The yacht underwent an extensive refit from 2021 to 2022. Interior work included new ceilings, flooring of marble and carpets, fabrics in cabins, electrical blinds in main and upper salons and master cabin, and automation of lights, curtains, and audio-visual systems. New furniture, art pieces, and televisions were installed throughout. A Miele cooktop and additional dishwasher were fitted in galley and upper salon. The crew area was fully refurbished. A new surround sound system was installed, and the wheelhouse electronics were reviewed and updated.
Exterior improvements included full hull and superstructure repainting, new teak on the sundeck, bow area, swim platform, and jacuzzi perimeter, with full teak deck recaulking and sanding. New lighting, upper deck extendable dining table and seating area, outdoor furniture, and upholstery were provided across all decks. Stainless-steel items were fully polished. A new sun awning, CCTV system, and IP camera were installed. Underwater work included a new depth sounder transducer, new sea lights, and full sanding and antifouling of the hull bottom.
