Clem Masters 46 Bridge Deck Motor Cruiser
Overview
About this vessel
The Clem Masters 46' Bridgedeck Motor Cruiser "Mahogany" represents a rare and significant piece of Australian boating history. Built in 1996 by respected Gold Coast boat builder Gary Doornbos for his own personal use, she is believed to be one of the last traditionally built ketch-rigged timber coastal cruisers constructed in Australia. Remarkably, she has remained in the hands of her original owner since launch — a testament to both her quality and enduring appeal.
Designed by RC (Clem) Masters, "Mahogany" combines timeless craftsmanship with genuine long-range cruising capability. Her beautifully maintained varnished mahogany interior, laid teak cockpit and elegant classic lines create a level of warmth and character rarely found in modern vessels.
Powered by the renowned Gardner 6LXC diesel, she cruises comfortably and economically at approximately 8 knots while offering substantial fuel and water capacity for extended cruising. Accommodation includes a generous aft master stateroom with ensuite, spacious saloon and well-appointed guest cabins forward.
Well equipped with bow thruster, Furuno electronics, generator, inverter system, static stabilisers and tender package, "Mahogany" is a superbly presented and highly capable classic cruiser of exceptional pedigree.
