About this vessel

Steel-built Ro/Ro passenger ferry constructed in 1975–1976 and classed with RINA for coastal area operation. The vessel is fully compliant with SOLAS 90 and Stockholm Agreement Criteria, with AIS installed.

The ferry is equipped with two Pielstick main engines delivering 1,200 BHP each for a total of 12,000 BHP, supported by three diesel generator sets. A bow thruster is fitted. Service speed is 17 knots with a maximum speed of 19 knots.

The vessel accommodates 750 passengers year-round, with 50 passenger cabins across Decks 5 and 7, and 47 crew cabins distributed across Decks 5 and 6. All cabins include WC and shower facilities. Deck 7 features 202 pullman seats. A lift is available for disabled persons, and full air conditioning is provided throughout.

Cargo capacity spans three vehicle decks: Deck 5 with 298 lane metres (128 cars), Deck 3 with 543 lane metres (208 cars), and Deck 1 with 164 lane metres (53 cars). Two cargo lifts support loading operations—one 18-metre lift rated for 48 tons and one 10-metre lift rated for 33 tons.

Safety equipment includes four lifeboats with a combined capacity of 550 persons, two davits, and one fast rescue boat. The vessel carries fresh water capacity of 189.5 MT and fuel capacity for both IFO 120 CST and MGO 0.1%, with consumption rates between 1.0 and 1.6 MT per hour depending on operating speed.
