The Sportsman 551 is a scaled-up cuddy cabin version of the 521, offering more internal space and a higher level of standard equipment. It is configured as a versatile offshore fishing and family boat and is supplied as a complete package including a 60 HP Mercury four-stroke outboard and trailer. The boat incorporates a compact cabin with seating, generous cockpit, and robust alloy construction with underfloor buoyancy. It is intended as a capable coastal fishing platform while remaining easily trailerable.
