Description
The Sportsman 571 is an upgraded version of McLay’s long-running best seller, the 550 Fisherman. Retaining the proven hull with improved layout and features, it is aimed at offshore fishing, diving and family boating. The package includes a 90 HP Mercury four-stroke outboard and trailer, with approximate hull weight stated including motor and trailer.
The model offers a generous cockpit, stable hull and a practical cuddy cabin, making it a capable all-rounder for coastal use. Construction emphasises durability and safety with a plate-alloy bottom and underfloor buoyancy.

- Two portable 45 L fuel tanks for extended range.
- Bow keel wear strip and bow sprit with rope guides and rails.
- Cabin hatch, shelves and two marine-lined ply bunk squabs with storage underneath.
- Four welded alloy rod holders with side rod/storage racks.
- Wrap-around Perspex screen with glove box and cup holders.
- Swivel pedestal seats with upholstery and queen seat extensions for extra seating/storage.
- Large transom locker, Portofino transom, twin rear platforms with handrails and ladder.
- Mercury 90 HP EXLPT four-stroke outboard, fitted and tank tested.
