Description
The 801 Gen2 Hardtop is positioned as the ultimate offshore trailer boat in the McLay line-up. Built on a variable 18° deadrise hull with a 6 mm plate bottom and substantial beam, it is designed to handle long offshore passages, rough water and large swells while remaining trailerable.
The Gen2 801 features a very spacious wheelhouse and generous forward cabin, making it suitable for extended trips and overnighting on both sea and lake. Extensive storage, large fuel capacity and robust construction support serious blue-water fishing and cruising.
Key features & construction- 4 mm marine-grade alloy sides and tops with 6 mm plate bottom chines.
- Welded 4 mm tread plate floor with underfloor buoyancy.
- 300 L underfloor fuel tank with sender.
- Auxiliary outboard bracket (if required) and full-length keel protection strip.
- Bow sprit with rope guides, cabin handrails, hatch and shelves.
- Lined cabin, dash and hardtop for comfort and reduced noise.
- Hydraulic steering, sliding wheelhouse windows, cabin windows and curved safety glass front screen.
- Large transom storage lockers, lower storage racks and side rod-storage.
- Two swivel deluxe helm seats with upholstery and padded cabin squabs.
- Bait board/drawer combo, walk-through Portofino transom, twin platforms with rails and ladder.
- Full bow rail, dash, roof and deck handrails, plus helm and passenger footsteps.
- Electrical harness, USB power socket.
- 2000 GPH bilge pump, navigation and anchor lights.
- Sav drum anchor winch with rope, chain and anchor.
