Description
A great all-round cuddy cabin boat that is built to handle rough conditions. The Sportsman 521 is designed as a stable, great-handling platform suitable for offshore fishing and general boating. It is supplied as a complete package including a 50 HP Mercury four-stroke outboard and trailer, with approximate hull weight quoted including motor and trailer.
The hull construction uses substantial plate alloy and underfloor buoyancy to provide safety and durability. The layout features a compact cuddy cabin, open cockpit, and transom locker, giving practical space for fishing and family use while remaining easy to tow and launch.
Key features & construction- Marine-grade 3 mm sides and tops with 5 mm plate bottom chines for strength.
- Welded 4 mm tread plate floor providing underfloor buoyancy.
- Portable fuel system with 2 x 25 L tanks.
- Bow sprit with rope guides and rails and self-draining anchor locker with lid.
- Cuddy cabin with hatch and shelves for dry storage.
- Four welded alloy rod holders and side storage for rods and gear.
- Wrap-around Perspex windscreen with helm and passenger footsteps and dash handrail.
- Swivel pedestal seats and large transom locker with twin rear platforms, rails and boarding ladder.
- Complete 50 HP four-stroke Mercury outboard package, fitted and tank tested.
- Single-axle trailer matched to the hull.
- Basic electrical system with wiring harness prepared for standard electrics and accessories.
- VHF radio and aerial, bilge pump (1100 GPH), navigation and anchor lights.
- Full Nyalic protective coating inside and out to protect the alloy structure.
