Overview
Description
The 701 Gen2 Hardtop is a mid-size cruiser hardtop within McLay’s offshore range. The Gen2 hull maintains the excellent handling of the original 701 while improving stability both at rest and underway. The design offers a very large fishing platform typically associated with longer boats, as well as generous storage and cabin space for family days or extended trips.
With a variable 18° deadrise, plate-alloy bottom and large underfloor fuel capacity, the 701 Gen2 is built for offshore and coastal work, towable for adventures on sea and lake alike. It is configured primarily for outboard power but can accept a sterndrive up to 275 HP.
