Description
The 741 Raptor is McLay’s amphibious hardtop model, representing a new chapter in amphibious boat design. It combines a McLay 7.4 m hardtop hull with the Tectrax electric amphibious all-wheel-drive system, enabling quiet, simple operation on land and water.
The wheel deployment and retraction system is configured to preserve the appearance and functionality of a conventional McLay hardtop at sea. The bow arrangement allows standard drum anchoring without risk of the rope fouling the front wheel, and the rear wheels retract into a custom transom to minimise the chance of fishing lines tangling. The boat is targeted at users who require beach launching, shallow-water access or land drive capability without sacrificing offshore performance.

- Welded 4 mm tread plate floor with underfloor buoyancy.
- 225 L underfloor fuel tank with sender.
- Full-length keel protection strip for beaching and shallow operation.
- Bow sprit with rope guides, cabin hatch and lockable cabin door.
- Lined storage cabin, dash and hardtop for a high-quality tactile finish.
- Four alloy rod holders plus 8‑rod hardtop rocket launcher, bait board/drawer combo, live bait tank and kill tank.
- Hydraulic steering, sliding wheelhouse windows, cabin windows and curved safety glass front screen.
- Large transom storage, lower racks and side rod-storage.
- King/queen seating with two swivel deluxe helm seats and upholstered cabin squabs.
- Walk-through Portofino transom, platforms with handrails and twin ladders, full bow rail and Ultralon flooring on deck and gunnels.
- Electrical harness, Fusion Bluetooth stereo, VHF and aerial.
- USB power socket, Simrad NSS16" EVO3 GPS/Sounder.
- 2000 GPH bilge pump, cabin and deck lights, navigation and anchor lights.
